What happens at the online meetings?

The first two dates in September are for getting to know each other and theory. You can expect in-depth knowledge about Mama Kakao. We exchange ideas and prepare for our retreat weekend.

On October 12th we will meet for a loving exchange to give space for all existing questions, thoughts and feelings. And maybe we will even drink a cocoa together and celebrate our
Cocoa Teacher Certificate.

Important information/catering:

  • about 90 minutes lunch break
  • Restaurants in the immediate vicinity
  • Opportunities for eating together in the living room
  • Kettle, hotplate and dishwasher for free use

Staying in the studio:

  • Overnight stay in the studio is free of charge. Please bring your own mat, sleeping bag/duvet and pillow.
  • Showers are available. You must bring your own towels.
  • If you have a van or want to sleep in your car, there is plenty of parking on the street. There is no private parking, but there is plenty of space right outside the door.

questions and answers

Where is the Bamboo?

The training takes place in Bamboo II. The address is: Dönhoffstraße 24, 10318 Berlin

(Backyard, 1st floor).

How do I get there?

  1. Take the train to Berlin Ostbahnhof and change to the S3 towards Erkner to "Karlshorst". Then it's about a 10-15 minute walk.

  2. If you are arriving by car, please note that there is no private parking. There are plenty of parking spaces on the street. Feel free to form carpools. These can be arranged in the WhatsApp group.

When can I arrive at Bamboo on the first day of the retreat on October 3rd?

The studio is available from 6:30 p.m.
Please note that this is a public holiday and plan your time accordingly.

Can I arrive earlier than October 3rd or stay one night longer?

You are welcome to do that, but the studio will not be available as a place to sleep. Please find alternative accommodation and enjoy your time in Berlin.

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Clothes you like to move in
  • journal/notebook
  • Colorful pens, 2-3 ballpoint pens/fountain pens or similar
  • If you like: Affirmation cards, questions, wishes & inspirations
  • If desired: own yoga equipment
  • YOU, with everything you are feeling right now!

What equipment is available on site?

  • yoga mats
  • Aids such as bolsters, blocks, straps, pillows, blankets

How do we feed ourselves?

Bamboo has a small kitchen with a hotplate, dishwasher and sink. There are supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby.
Feel free to bring something with you and/or explore the area during your break.

Is the training certified?

Yes, you will receive a certificate at the end.

Do I have to take an exam?

To receive the certificate at the end, two things are crucial:
1. Your participation in all lessons and readings (unless you are sick)
.
2. A small task that I will explain to you on site.

What prior knowledge do I need?

None! You come as you are and we all learn from each other.



* The payment plan will be discussed individually due to different financial resources.


However, a cancellation fee applies in case of cancellation:

• Up to 90 days before the start of the training - 50% of the total amount

• Up to 30 days before the start of the training - 80% of the total amount

• Less than 30 days before the start of the training - 100% of the total amount


Exception: if the cancelling participant fills the place himself.

Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions in the case of illness. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. We are happy to help you with this, just get in touch.
